This policy explains what happens to your information when you contact Shanghai Daoge Xiaoman Tools Co., Ltd. ("we", "us") through this website, by email or on WhatsApp, and what we collect automatically when you browse https://www.xiaomantools.com.

We are a business-to-business supplier. In practice the information we hold is business contact information and the content of trade enquiries.

Information you give us

When you send an enquiry, we receive whatever you choose to include — typically your name, company, email address or WhatsApp number, the products you are interested in, quantities and destination.

We use this only to answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation, and carry out any order that follows. We do not need, and ask you not to send, personal information beyond ordinary business contact details.

Information collected automatically

This website uses Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and how visitors find us. It records information such as pages viewed, approximate location at city or country level, device type and referring website. It does not tell us who you are.

You can block this entirely with a browser setting or an ad-blocking extension, or by using Google's opt-out browser add-on. The site works normally either way.

Product images are served from a content delivery network, which processes your IP address in order to deliver the image files to your browser.

WhatsApp and email

Messages sent to us on WhatsApp are handled by WhatsApp under their own terms and encryption. Email is handled by our mail provider. Neither service is controlled by us, and we suggest you avoid sending confidential documents through them.

Who we share information with

We do not sell contact information, and we do not pass it to third parties for marketing.

When you place an order, the information needed to fulfil it is shared with the parties involved — the manufacturer producing your goods, the freight forwarder, and customs authorities where the law requires it. Nothing more than is necessary is shared.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept while there is a reasonable prospect of continuing the conversation, and then deleted.

Records relating to actual orders are kept for as long as export, tax and accounting rules require.
